On Wednesday June 19, 2002, Zachary William Lovig of Red Oak, Iowa journeyed to the the small, rural town of Orange City to reunite with compatriots Benjamin Darr and Matthew Van Zante. Their quest, having already chosen to accept it, was to travel to Napoleon, Ohio to witness the wedding of Resident Director (and friend) Jon Cavanagh.

In an attempt to warm their hearts and prepare their spirits, fellow Orange Citians Dan and Emily DeYoung invited the traveling trio over for a send-off dinner. The heros then loaded up the infamous 1990 Grand Am LE and traveled 300 miles to Pella, Iowa, refuge for the dutch, and the home of Mr. Van Zante's parents.
